a low fat level but a well balanced fatty acid profile.
High vitamin content & now with added Beta glucans which
is a powerful immune booster.
This mix still has the same content of Astaxanthin + other pigments to give
your fish bright colouration.
This granule is suitable for tropical & coldwater fish. It is especially
well suited to coldwater fancy fish & Koi where colouration is an important
factor.

Micro Pellet
Used primarily in hatcheries where stocking levels are large. This is a brand
new feed designed where fish health, nutrition & quality of water is of
the greatest priority.
Aimed at increasing the amount of feed you can safely feed to your growing
fish which increases growth rate in the early stages.
Highly digestible with a built in attractor to get your young fish feeding.
Contains increased levels of vitamins C & E. Also contains naturally sourced
nucleotides to help disease resistance. These are well known to aid physiological
efficiency,
growth, reduce stress & help in gut related problems.
One of our fish farm customers put us onto this & they report huge reductions
in runted or misformed fish.

Red Astax Crumb
This crumb has been deleted from
our mill so it means we cannot get this again.
We only have about 100 kg left in stock (Jan.2012) so if you want it you need
to
put an order in quickly.
Some grades are down to a few kilo's.
We have new granules being made up with virtually
the same ingredients.
Our
biggest selling granular feed. We literally sell tons of it.
This is the best food for fish you can get. If I put every customers feedback
here
I wouldn't have space to list all the other great foods....

We import wild fish from the
Amazon. To start out in quarantine we use live foods then introduce this feed
to them to get them used to prepared foods.
It is perhaps the best food for this purpose as we can use it to introduce Spirulina
or drugs needing to be ingested for internal worms etc.
The colouring properties are second to none. We had Bleeding Heart Tetras really
thin on receipt but within 4 weeks they were full colour &
chasing each other to spawn. Otocinclus
is a well known cleaner catfish which eats algae etc. Our wild fish eat this
off the surface. They sit there & suck it
down, it's an amazing site. These fish are not starved as Courgette & other
green foods are always in the tank.
Corydoras pygmaeus
doubled their size in 4 weeks on this & newly hatched brine shrimp.
|
Poecilocharax weitzmanni. We imported the fish in these photos from Colombia. They always come in really small (about 5-10mm) & are notoriously difficult to quarantine & raise. This is why they are rarely seen in retailers tanks. We raised these on newly hatched Siberian Brine Shrimp & then onto our Astax crumb. They are always thin looking even after heavy feeds. |

Red Astax Crumb I
started out learning the trade around 1970 & in all these years
I have not come across such a fantastic food. Made up specially to our
order, we have been using this in our breeding unit since 2004. In this
time we have bred & raised on thousands of colourful fish &
supplied importers & retailers who keep coming back for more orders
of fish & feed. We import wild fish from time to time. The fantastic Tetra Poecilocharax weitzmanni is one we bring in from a freind in Colombia. This is a notoriously hard fish to acclimatise & feed. After initial feeds of Siberian brine shrimp & grindal worm they take the red crumb no problem & grow well on it. |
Red Crumb is well established
in UK fish breeders circles, it's highly nutritious, lasts for ages & it's
inexpensive.
Astaxanthin gives this food its red colouration. Astaxanthin is hugely important
for fish. Astaxanthin is very strong
- 10 times stronger than Beta Carotene &
100 times stronger than Vitamin E (alpha tocopherol). The anti-oxidant properties
exceed also zeaxanthin, canthaxanthin & vitamin C.

Grade 2 - 0·2 - 0·3 mm. Basically a powder fine enough for
new born livebearer fry. Since I started using this grade my brine shrimp
hatches have been cut down drastically.

Grade 3 - 0·3 - 0·5 mm. Fry food slightly coarser than grade
2 suitable for livebearer fry. I feed this to all my livebearer brood
stock 5 cm +. Fantastic grade I would not be without in my fish house.

Granular food with colour enhancer & attractor. Just about the best dried food I have found. It contains Astaxanthin at 80 mg/kg which is a great colour enhancer. Also contains a very active attractor. I feed it to killies, livebearers, catfish, cichlids & shrimps such as Triops & all take it with great gusto. I grow coffer tail guppies to adult size in only 10 weeks using brine shrimp & this food. I only feed it once a day ! Rainbow & Angel fish fry are not easily fed prepared foods but are being fed this product by those supplied with great results. Both grades can be fed to micro, grindal or white worm cultures as a bio-encapsulation food. I sell this to fishermen who add this to pork luncheon meat to make a paste & use it as groundbait or on the hook. Due to high attractor qualities of the food it has proved a winner in catching more fish. Feed catfish by making a paste which sinks to the bottom. I feed Corydoras & Ancistrus this way & they love it. Wholesalers feed this to 'L' numbers from the wild & they also eat it. I'm not kidding here, this food is really good...... |
This food is used by many ornamental
fish breeders around the World. Guppies for example are raised to adult
size in only 3 months by commercial breeders using this product in their
diet. |
|
A fishermans tale..... A fisherman mate of ours tried this
food out on the river bank by baiting the area he was fishing with the
red crumb shown above. He was catching fish all day whereas the pegs
either side showed little interest. Food so far sent to the USA, Canada, Sweden,
Portugal, Malta, China, Denmark, Norway, Australia, Singapore, Turkey,
Italy. |
Don't take my word on how good it is. These comments are from breeders who have tried it....... 'Thanks for the food, I've got some week old angel fry and some N.kilomberoensis fry that are both eating it'. 'I got the new food today looks good value.' 'I am geting very good results with Tims new food, my Epiplatys love it,and so do my scripts they gulp it down,It brings out the colour of annulatus and roloffi,I have a lot of E.infrafasciatus fry that I feed only with the new food, they are growing fast and the colours are very bright. Regards Gordon Clarke (302-02)'. '....contact
Tim for some of the food he is selling. It is top quality. |

Remember
the golden rules to keep your feeds in top condition:-
Keep cool (refrigerate)- Exclude all air from the pack - Store in a dark place which is as dry as possible. Absolutely do not store on the window sill or on top of your tanks !!! Some vitamins are easily destroyed by careless storage. Many of our feeds are refridgerated for top freshness. If the wife (or partner) will allow it store the packs in the fridge & exclude all the air before sealing in our re-sealable packs. This is highly recommended for Brine Shrimp eggs. |
I'm behind every product on
this page as I use them in my fish house daily. Electricity & gas prices
in the UK have gone through the roof. Now, more than ever you need to make money
from your fish house to help out with these expenses. It's a testing time in
the fishkeeping hobby in the UK.
Start now & save money on feed stuffs.......
