Sponges

Unless specified all these sponges are our own brand. We have had molds specially made up for each type.
Where possible we have listed filters these sponges are compatible with. Due to copyright issues these are not exact facsimilies but
compatible in size & available in coarser densities.
Many Far Eastern designs are made up from the same sized inner core for example. All material is 100% safe for aquatic life.
We hope to list 3 different densities of foam for most types in the near future. Photos indicate the grades we have in stock.

The medium grade blue sponges are now being used in our own breeding sheds. They are so easy to clean out.
We recommend using the water sponges came from to use in cleaning. It's the same temperature & water chemistry & helps in keeping the nitrifying bacteria established in the element.
