This is quality peat you don't get at garden centres. We use it in our Anabantoid breeding set ups with leaves available on the 'Treatments' page & get very dark brown water from the combination. Many species are spawning in these set ups.

Peat Fibre

You cannot find this stuff easily. Harvested from peat bogs in Scotland. This product is fantastic for Killifish - annual & semi annual species. Also used with mop spawners for permanent breeding set ups. Acid loving fish like many Anabantoid species do well on this.
Useful in filters to help acidify the water for South American fish such as Characins, Discus etc & other acid tolerant sp. such as many Betta sp. I've bred Betta brownorum & B.uberis over this peat.
Customers are also using it for reptiles & insects.

Huey Hung - Bamboo Carbon

This bamboo carbon is burnt as high temperature. Absorbs odours, organic substances, chlorines. As with any carbon it should be removed if using traetments/medicines in the water as it will absorb this, making the treatment weaker or non effective.
