They really are that rich & dark in colour.

Spirulina Flake

This flake is fantastically rich & deep green in colour. It contains a generous 30% pure Spirulina. This algae has various properties including helping fish to increase disease resistance.
We feed this extensively to our fish (Guppies, Cichlids etc) & have supplied Rift Lake Cichlid breeders large amounts.
When you see the richness of this flake you will not look at another herbivore flake.
Analysis (Approx): Protein 52%, Fat 89grm/kg, Ash 90grm/kg, Moisture 8%, vitamins A, D3, E, B12, K3.

We sell kilo's of this flake & sell out fast. In our opinion it's the best Spirulina flake on the market.

Please note we are having problems getting this flake at the moment. It is made in small batches. This is the best Spirulina flake on the market. We should have more in very shortly. We apologise for our shortage but 50 kg is on order to tide us over.

'Received my order today thank you. I was surprised as I only ordered yesterday, I must say that I am very happy with the Beefheart flake, since feeding my Angelfish on this 4 pairs started to breed within two weeks and rear their own young, I'm sure this flake kickstarted something in them. Thanks again.' ...Allan Morris - Lincolnshire.

Garlic Flake

The medicinal properties of Garlic are not generally known. It contains allicin which is created when the bulb is damaged or crushed. This has known properties as an anti-microbial which destoys some bacteria. This is destroyed at pH 3 but it's unlikely you would keep fish at these levels.
Other properties of Garlic are still being discovered. Some fish keepers use it to prevent internal worms. Marine keepers have found it useful in preventing White Spot (Ichthyophthirius). Marine customers have reported Anthias, large Queen Angel, Tangs & Emporer Angels take it.
Analysis (Approx): Protein 40%; Lipids 10%; Ash 7%; Moisture 7·5%.

90 grm - £5·50

Earthworm Flake

In the past we have tried this flake from sources where the colour was very thin, pale & insipid looking. About the same colour as our background here. Not this product. The colour is a lovely rich brown colour & the smell is really fresh.
This is a great flake if you are conditioning fish up for breeding. This, mosquito larvae & Bloodworm are some of the best foods to get fish into breeding condition.
This is a rich food which should not be fed exclusively. For general tropicals a couple of times a week is ideal.

When it's gone it's gone....
This is not big enough for larger fish.

This is NOT King British, Aquarian or any other brand name flake sold in retailers. We do not 'split' buckets from any mainline manufacturers.

Daphnia - Micro Flakes - 57g

Specially packed for TA straight from the manufacturer

We've not seen Daphnia in flake form before but we have it now. Really nice smell to this flake. If we can smell it so can the fish.
The live Daphnia we feed to our fish is the same colour as this flake.
Naturally enriched with Blue-Green Algae. Contains no artificial binders or ingredients. This is not the usual dried dust normally seen. Daphnia is not easy to freeze dry & here we have a great product put into mini flakes. These flakes are a new way in feeding Daphnia. The rich smell on opening the pot tells me this product is a winner in being taken up by your fish.
It's New.......Try it out..

Protein 50%, Fat 2·4%, Fibre 10%, Ash 19%, Moisture 9%, Phosphorous 1·4%, Xanthophyll 180mg per pound.

It was hard to convince breeders this wierd flake was good. We initially tried out a few kilo's & enterprising breeders tried it out.
Guppy & livebearer breeders are now buying loads of it.
We have one breeder who drives down from Scotland to pick this up from shows.
Freshwater shrimps are more popular now than ever. This flake was designed to show itself in shrimp stomachs to show they were taking feed.
An ideal feed for shrimps in aquaria.
Not to be found on retailers shelves. This is a very underestimated flake.
