Simply click the 'Add to Basket' button to be directed to Paypal's payment site. A form is presented where you fill in your details. An order is received by us but no payment details are sent to us apart from the amount.
Please note: Payments sent through Paypal as 'e-cheques' take 7 days to clear. We always try to send orders as soon as possible but due to some payments being bounced we now only send when payment is cleared.

How can I change the payment method?

To choose a different payment method when sending money, follow these steps:
1.. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
2.. Click ‘Send Money’ at the top of the page
3.. Enter the email address or mobile phone number of the recipient - ( copy/paste this - timaddis@killifish.force9.co.uk )
4.. Enter the amount and choose the currency
5.. Choose whether the payment is a Purchase or Personal payment
6.. Click ‘Continue’
7.. If you want to change the funding method, click ‘Change’ under Payment Method & select -

a.. PayPal Balance
b.. Instant Bank Transfer
c.. eCheque (takes seven to nine business days)
d.. Credit or debit card

Note: For personal payments, choosing to pay by credit or debit card will incur a fee. To check the fees, click the Fees link at the bottom of any PayPal page.

UK orders exceeding 2kg will usually be sent on carrier for next day delivery.

It is difficult to be accurate with postage amounts as the shopping cart is geared up to fixed order amounts.

We now ship heavy orders by APC freight forwarders. Please see the link Carrier Delivery top left corner.
Multi kilo orders of feeds or peat fibre are extremely expensive to post by Royal Mail but we can bring costs down by putting your order on carrier. Orders up to 15 kg can still be sent within the shopping cart pricing system.
Delivery is next day in most areas of England, Wales & Southern Scotland (Same as First Class Royal Mail).

If you do not wish to use the cart simply e-mail me with your order & I will get back to you with a post/packing amount. You can still send the amount by Paypal or post a cheque or Postal Order with your order to the address at the top of this page.

Mainland European/overseas customers please note...
Our postal system goes up to 2kg, after this weight prices get silly & I advise large orders be split in multiples below this amount. For a typical 2·4 kg order sent in one piece it will cost around £25 (to European mainland destinations) but if split will cost £14 (for 2 packages). Please contact me for ways to get cheaper postal costs.

International orders are sent out regularly. Please contact us with your order & I will work out a freight rate.

Your Right to Refunds. In accordance with online trading regulations you have the right to return goods within a 7 day period for full refund. Cost of return to be paid for by the customer.
Returned goods for items substituted by TA Aquaculture - Postage is paid by us.

Non Delivery (UK). On rare occaisions mail may become lost in the post. We send most orders First Class with waterproof, clearly printed labels. For larger parcels these labels are large, clearly printed sheets which are again waterproof. By rights you should receive your order the next working day after we notify you of mailing. Please notify us if your order does not arrive within 3 working days of being notified.
Royal Mail loss claim procedure does not deem a package to be lost until 15 working days after the expected delivery date & 10 working days for Special Delivery claims.
We cannot instigate a search by Royal Mail until this time has passed.
If you have not recieved your package a few days after we advise of mailing please contact us. It could be that a delivery was attempted & the item returned to the sorting office. In some occaissions no card has been left by Postal workers to advise this.
On one particular occaission an item was marked 'gone away' by the postal delivery person & immediately sent to non delivered items in Belfast which meant a long delay. Thankfully this has only happened once in the thousands of packages we have sent out.
Our policy in these cases is to re-send (if still not delivered). It has been known for packages to take 10+ days over its scheduled date to get delivered in very exceptional circumstances in busy periods such as pre-Christmas.

Refunds on Money sent to us. If we do not have the stock you order & you require a refund for money sent we will refund the amount for the out of stock item in full on request including post/packing amounts sent. You will not be charged by Paypal in these refunds.

Trade Orders. Larger trade orders are sent by carrier. Customer pays carriage cost.
Trade payments by Paypal are subject to Paypal's fees (3·6% of invoice value from July 2008).
Bulk orders we have to import can vary in cost according to sudden downturns in the currency market. In such cases we reserve the right to adjust our quotes. Whilst this is a rare occurence the money market did drop sharply at the end of 2008 & the 2009 recession.
We regret we no longer extend 30 day credit on trade orders. Payment must accompany order.
